Will I See My Dog In Heaven by Jack Wintz

This is a gentle book citing many examples from the Bible and Franciscan thought illustrating Gods love for all of His creation, not just humans, and our responsibility to care for Gods creation on this earth. Written by popular demand, it focuses on a comforting message for people who suffer from the loss of a beloved pet, or those such as myself who see Gods beauty and majesty primarily through nature. Its theology isnt very complex, but it actually doesnt need to be--its a simple but well-rounded collection of evidence that God intends to redeem all creation and that all creatures have a purpose in praising God and even in making people more kind, compassionate beings. Although I havent heard a pastor ever address this topic in a sermon, a quick internet search shows just how many people face a major crisis of faith or even loss of belief in a loving God because they cannot justify cruelty to animals, the suffering of animals as innocent creatures, or the lack of other creatures, especially their beloved companion animals, in the afterlife.

Will My Pet Go To Heaven?

Will Our Pets Be With Us In Heaven?

OK, this is not the usual sort of thing I might write about. This is not as hardcore as dealing with, say, creeping sharia or the culture wars. But it is well worth exploring nonetheless. Most people have pets and love their pets dearly. And if you are a Christian, you believe this life is simply a brief prelude to eternity. So some believers may legitimately be asking if they will see their beloved pets in heaven.

One question that many Christians have asked over the years is whether or not do our pets or any animals go to heaven? For those of you who have researched this topic, I am sure you have seen many of the different opinions on this question. Many Christians believe that God will allow our pets to cross over into heaven after they die so they can be with us for all of eternity. However, just as many other Christians do not believe that any of our pets will be crossing over to be with us. After studying the possible verses on this question, it is my own personal opinion that God does not specifically say one way or the other whether or not any of our own personal pets will be crossing over with us. And many of the Bible theologians and scholars also agree with this opinion, as they too could not find any verses per se that will definitely answer this question for us. However, when you put all of these verses together on this topic, I believe there might be a little clue in all of this that might possibly give us the answer.

Do animals in the afterlife , such as pets, send people signs and messages from heaven? Sometimes they do, but animal communication after death is different from how human souls communicate after they die. Trying to force afterlife communication--or operating outside the trusting relationship with God--is dangerous and can open communication portals to fallen angels with evil motives who may take advantage of your grief to deceive you. But be sure to place your trust in God to arrange that communication at the right times and in the right ways. The best way to tune in to whatever signs and messages are coming your way from heaven is to develop a close relationship with God and his messengers, angels , through regular prayer and meditation.

Many Christians believe that God will allow our pets to cross over into heaven after they die so they can be with us for all of eternity. However.

1. There Were Definitely Animals in the Garden of Eden

Will our pets be in heaven? There is no question that animals will be in heaven. In fact, Isaiah —9 offers a beautiful picture of what heaven will be like. The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, The calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them. The cow and the bear shall graze; Their young ones shall lie down together; And the lion shall eat straw like the ox. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD As the waters cover the sea. God does everything perfectly, so in paradise, we will find complete love and happiness, which will include loving companionship with the animals.
