The Treasure in the Royal Tower by Carolyn Keene
My love of reading started when i was young, and it gives me immense pleasure to provide books to Spread the Word Nevada, an organization that passes them on to children in the community. They are a terrific organization supporting an important cause. If your local I encourage you to check them out. For those living further a field, look in your own community, their may already be a similar program in place. And if not, you can always help start one.
Myself, I go out on the weekends and
shop thrift store and bulk book lots to rescue books and donate them. Sometimes Ill find a book I remember reading when I was young and will read it again before passing it on.
I dont rate these books using my normal scale, instead I give most of them three stars. This isnt a Criticism of the book, simply my way of rating them as good for children.

I fear for the future of adventure games. Or maybe, more accurately, I fear for the future of adventure game developers. My wife and I are long time devotees of the genre, preferring to spend most Sundays holed up with snacks and a keyboard. It's a big genre, with more misses than hits: there's something eminently satisfying about finding a title that scratches all the right itches the last one was Whispered World. A few hours in, it was clear that developer Her Interactive had made the thing work, and so we poked onto the company's page. There's a ton of these: 33 in total, though not all appear to be available on Steam. I fear for the future of adventure game developers because if more people find out about this, they won't need to find a new adventure game for literal years.
From the s girl book series to the Her Interactive computer games, Nancy Drew has remained a feminist icon for women and girls.
saga a world in one country
My neighbor down the street had originally given the computer game to her daughter, but she thought it was "too scary" and refused to play it, so she handed it off to me. I was quite the tomboy growing up, so at first, I wasn't sure if I was going to like such a "girly" game. I had heard of the infamous girl detective before but had never bothered to get into the franchise.
This post is part of Mashable's You're Old Week. Break through the haze of nostalgia with us and see what holds up, what disappoints, and what got better with time. At the crux of my early, forbidden play experiences was the Nancy Drew computer game series. While the rest of the house slept, I sleuthed until night turned into dawn. By the light of the blue screen, I squinted at hastily written notes scrawled down in a notebook about potential leads.

As I have said time and time again, do not be confused into thinking this and other Nancy Drew games are only good for children and young teens. They are quality entertainment for anyone who enjoys adventuring and puzzle solving. This latest installment is among the best of the bunch, and anyone who has been missing out on this great series must consider picking it up.
