Being Responsible: A Book about Responsibility by Mary SmallI would read this book aloud to preschool or kindergartners that are learning about being responsible. I really liked this book and the way it teaches kids to be responsible. It is also a good discussion book to talk to kids about, for example you could ask children if they have ever worn their helmet when riding a bike and tell them, Good job, thats an example of being responsible. Kids would love knowing that their being responsible and knowing theyre big boys and big girls. You could also ask kids if they have other examples of being responsible. It would be good at the beginning of the year because there are some examples relating to school so thats what they should do in their classroom.
