I will be travelling with my 14 year old daughter to Paris in April, just the two of us, after a week long tour of Italy with a group. I'm not sure what the rates are for hotels in Paris, but we would like something moderately priced - we will not be spending much time in the hotel. I'm putting together an itinerary, and here is what we've come up with so far - but this is not set in stone and we are up for any suggestions Visit Versailles - possibly a bike tour can this be a day trip? Possibly visit a friend in Toulouse - this might be too far away to make sense on a 3 day trip? Walk around the city, do a little shopping, and take it all in, perhaps visit some other sights.
