Myths and Legends podcast - Trojan War: Some Foolish Thing

A Review for Myths and Legends Podcast

I love mythology. And many myths have come straight down from an oral tradition, which again should make it perfect podcast fodder. Myths were important things, back in their day. They were part of the prevailing religion faith always has a habit of taking itself seriously and featured the gods that people actively worshiped. They are still important, even now.

Everyone knows at least one story of myth. Maybe you know bits and pieces but not quite the whole tale. Well the Myths and Legends podcast is here to help. And I mean all over. From Aladdin to Zeus to King Arthur, he has you covered.

Jason Weiser tells stories from myths, legends, and folklore that have shaped cultures throughout history. Some, like the stories of Aladdin, King Arthur, and Hercules are stories you think you know, but with surprising origins. Others are stories you might not have heard, but really should. All the stories are sourced from world folklore, but retold for modern ears. These are stories of wizards, knights, Vikings, dragons, princesses, and kings from the time when the world beyond the map was a dangerous and wonderful place.
