Youth Substance Use Rates
Each of our coalitions administer the evidence-based CTC Youth Survey in participating schools in their county. This provides a snapshot of what our youth are experiencing, and the risks they are exposed to. We have broken down youth substance use rates by county across the UP using data from these surveys. Youth Risk Factors
Each of our coalitions are working on priority youth risk factors for youth in their county. These risk factors are determined with data from the CTC Youth Survey. You can view the current priority risk factors in the UP here.
Local Health Needs Data Report
The 2018 Upper Peninsula Community Health Needs Assessment, a project completed in August 2018 by Western U.P. Health Department with support from 31 partners including health departments, hospitals, clinics, behavioral health and substance abuse agencies, and health foundations, provides a wealth of information on the health status and needs of the UP’s 310,000 residents.
