I was not much into autobiography. Gone are the days when you bitched about your own leader. Gone are the days you had animosity towards your alter ego. Gone are the days when you had ideologies to follow. Gone are the days where you fought for a cause. Bala Jeyaraman started out as a software engineer, but that ended when he realized that all he wanted to do in life was stay home, read books and sleep late every day.
He is known as the 'Father of Dravidian Movement'. Ramasamy joined the Indian National Congress in , but resigned in when he felt that the party was only serving the interests of Brahmins. He questioned the subjugation of non-Brahmin Dravidians as Brahmins enjoyed gifts and donations from non-Brahmins but opposed and discriminated non-Brahmins in cultural and religious matters. Ramasamy participated in a non-violent agitation satyagraha in Vaikom , Kerala. Ramasamy became the head of the Justice Party ,  and in , he changed its name to Dravidar Kazhagam. He opposed the exploitation and marginalisation of the non-Brahmin Dravidian people of South India and the imposition of what he considered Indo-Aryan India.
