Fairy Tail Fans Unite - Characters: Celestial Spirit Creation Showing 1-23 of 23
For the related Magic, see Celestial Spirit Magic. These Keys are separated into two classes: the more common Silver Keys and the extremely rare Gold Keys. Keys for Celestial Spirits are counted in Units collectively without regard of Gold or Silver , and a Celestial Spirit Mage is noted by how many Units they have obtained. Out of the twelve Gold Keys, ten are owned by Lucy Heartfilia and the remaining two are owned by Yukino Agria , who also holds the key to the "13th Gate" of the Zodiac. When a Celestial Spirit Mage receives a key and opens its Celestial Gate for the first time, they have to set up a contract with the respective Spirit. This contract consists of asking the Spirit which days it can be summoned by the Mage.
Ophiuchus' appearance is that of a humongous snake-like creature, which, curiously enough, appears to be part organic and part mechanical in nature. The upper part of its body is covered in a series of massive dark scales, which possess prominent holes on their sides, starting as larger, with squared outer edges, getting more narrow near their centers and then enlarging again, something which makes every single hole look like a pair of rhombs joined together; the upper part of the head and the corresponding jaw are similarly colored, with the reptile possessing light pupil-less eyes, a pair of massive fangs sprouting from the jaw, thin nostrils located on the front part of its nose and a series of dark motifs adorning its forehead, above the eyes. The lower part of Ophiuchus' body, on the other hand, is visibly technological and inorganic: its upper scales, instead of meat, appear to house a vast number of metal panels lined up one near the other, something which makes them resemble closed blinds; its lower jaw, while seemingly topped by an organic tongue which, unlike that of normal snakes, isn't forked , as well as being notably larger in comparison to the jaw itself than normal snakes' is entirely composed of metal, with the plates composing it, replicating the form of a real jaw, having their edges covered in lines of bolts. Such artificial-looking lower jaw is connected to the upper one by six piston -like objects, three sitting at each side of the creature's mouth, while a semicircular metal section covering the lower part of its neck, almost extending up to the top, sports two round openings on each side, with a single metallic bar outlining the diameter of each hole. The lower part of Ophiuchus' metal jaw sports a massive blade with jagged edges which, however, is relatively small in comparison to the beast itself curving toward the creature's body, secured to the front by a protrusion, and the attached for most of its length after a hollow space. Not much is known about Ophiuchus' history, except that it made a contract with Yukino Agria.
She is depicted as a teenage wizard and aspiring novelist who joins the titular guild due to its popularity, despite its members' tendency to cause unintentional property damage. As a celestial wizard, [JP 1] Lucy uses magical objects known as Gatekeys [JP 2] to summon celestial spirits , beings from another world that possess various abilities, such as powerful zodiac spirits that she summons with rare golden keys. Lucy's initial weapon is a whip with a heart-shaped extremity, which is later switched to an extendable celestial whip. Lucy appears in most Fairy Tail media, including both feature films , all original video animations OVAs , light novels and video games. Mashima stated that Lucy was designed with a serious personality and represents his artistic side. Lucy's character has received a mixed critical response.
Celestial Spirit Gate Keys are magical keys that can be used to summon Celestial Spirits, beings from another dimension that can be used to fight their contractor's opponents, to do chores or just to hang around with. The Silver Keys are common keys that can be bought from stores while the Gold Keys are very rare keys that can be used to summon the Zodiac Spirits. It is possible for a Celestial Spirit Mage to summon the Celestial Spirit King , who does not have a physical key, but there are certain conditions to do so. The first condition is the ability to summon at least three Spirits at once. The second is that a Golden Zodiac Key must be sacrificed to do so. The final condition is that the Mage and the Spirit of the Key must have a high level of trust between them. Whichever Key is sacrificed to summon the King will then crumble to pieces, and will henceforth be unusable.
