Disney: Beauty and the Beast Book of the Film by Walt Disney Company

Beauty and the Beast is the best book ever. Especially since Belle is my favorite Disney character. Usually I do not like fiction books but this one is the best one I have read. I love that Belle loves to be different and doesnt let anyone bring her down. Nobody likes when Belle reads. But that should be different. That is what I really love about her.But then that all changes living in that town. Her dad goes missing. She goes and trys to find him. She finds him in the castle and she finds the beast. The Beast and her start to get along then they start to fall in love. I think that this story is reakky amazing especially since they first dont like each other and then they fall in love. To me it is romantic.

Beauty And The Beast

Walt Disney's instant classic, Beauty and the Beast , is not only the finest animated movie ever made, but deserves a prominent position on any list of all-time greats. Although not the highest grossing Disney production, nor the best-remembered by most kids those honors go to The Lion King , Beauty and the Beast nevertheless earned the most enthusiastic notices ever by the critics and was recognized with a Best Picture Oscar nomination considering the weak competition, it deserved to win the award. The studio knew early in development that it had a winner. The astounding reception helped to build a sense of anticipation that was unrivaled since the days of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. In the past, I have been known to criticize Disney from time-to-time, but not on this occasion. Beauty and the Beast is a triumph of artistry? It has set the standard for today's animated motion picture, improving upon The Little Mermaid and establishing a level that no subsequent animated film has equaled.

But years later and with a live-action remake days away, does it still deserve that spot at the top? Like it must have been around for centuries, always part of our culture. Everything serves a purpose in Beauty and the Beast. You rarely see a movie tell a story so well, so quickly. Read this.

To break the curse, Beast must learn to love Belle and earn her love in return before the last petal falls from an enchanted rose or else the Beast will remain a monster forever. Walt Disney first attempted unsuccessfully to adapt Beauty and the Beast into an animated film during the s and s. Following the success of The Little Mermaid , Walt Disney Pictures decided to adapt the fairy tale, which Richard Purdum originally conceived as a non-musical. Disney chairman Jeffrey Katzenberg eventually dismissed Purdum's idea and ordered that the film be a musical similar to The Little Mermaid instead. Ashman, who additionally served as the film's executive producer, died of AIDS -related complications six months before the film's release, and the film is thus dedicated to his memory.
