Gary Goshgarian, a professor of English, teaches fiction writing, science fiction, horror fiction, and modern bestsellers. Under his pen name Gary Braver, he is the author of eight novels including medical thriller, Flashback , winner of a Massachusetts Honor Book Award. His novels have been translated into seven languages, and three have been optioned for movies, including Elixir by Ridley Scott. He has taught fiction-writing workshops throughout the United States as well as in Europe. In addition to his novels, he is the author of five popular college writing textbooks.
