I need to rewatch Angel now, i didnt realize how much i missed Angel until I read this. The illustrations were unique and the story follows directly after the final episode it was wonderfully done and cant wait to continue the series!

It's interesting to see the different interpretations the artists have of the characters and the story, and fun to see the threads running through all of them. The hardcover also includes some behind the scenes commentary from Lynch which is excellent and displays exactly why Joss chose him to take the lead on this series. This is the collection that reveals it! From Wesley's death, to Gunn being turned, it's all here with a good number of guest stars who are very important in the battle. Picking up where Season Five of the fan-favorite TV show left off, this first volume looks at who lived after that climactic battle, who died, and what happened to all of Los Angeles in its wake. I'm assuming this is a good graphic novel, so I'm not going to sacrifice any stars. However, I wanted to see a sample of it before I downloaded it to see if it followed suit with the Buffy comics. I wasn't expecting a whole issue, I pretty much just wanted to see either the first page or any example of the layout besides the cover. I was disappointed that the preview was only the cover and two blank title pages.
